What Melda OS is

Melda OS is a workspace for making content: a database of your ideas and content, a brand voice profile, Emmy (an AI content agent) and cards you and your team review. You contract with Melda for the software. Access is by invitation.

Your account

You must be at least 18 to use Melda OS. You sign in with the email you were invited with. Keep your password private, and tell us at help@melda.co if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for the people you ask us to add to your workspace.

Plans, payment and cancelling

• Every plan is month to month. There is no long-term contract.
• Your price is the one shown on our pricing page or agreed with you in writing when you join. You are billed in advance each month.
• There are no refunds for partial months.
• If a payment fails and is not fixed within 14 days, we may pause your workspace until it is.
• You can cancel at any time by emailing help@melda.co. Your plan ends at the end of your current billing period.

Your content

You own your content and everything delivered to you in your workspace. Melda keeps no rights beyond storing and processing it to operate the service for you. This includes sending it to the service providers named in our Privacy Policy. Only bring in material you have the right to use.

Export, and leaving

Use “Download your data” to export your workspace. You can also ask for an export by emailing help@melda.co. On your written request, we close your workspace immediately and block sign-in. You can ask to reopen it within 14 days.

Our erasure procedure clears chat messages, saved copies of chat text, chat titles, and retained source text, titles and passages. Erased text cannot be restored in the app. Source links and metadata remain, including content fingerprints, counts and where a source came from. Content cards, source documents and generated scripts are not erased by this procedure. It does not delete the workspace record, logs or backups. Files held by other providers, including Google Docs and Sheets, are not erased. Files in your own Google account are untouched. Other providers keep data under their own published policies, linked in our Privacy Policy.

Your channels

Your social accounts stay yours. Melda OS does not post to them. Any done-for-you service from an agency partner is covered by that partner’s own agreement with you. The partner works in your workspace only with access you grant. You can remove that access at any time. You keep approval of your content.

AI writing and results

Emmy and the AI models behind it can get things wrong. Read what it writes before you publish it; nothing goes out unless you put it out. We do not guarantee leads, views or any other result.

Fair use

Do not use Melda OS to break the law, to infringe anyone’s rights, or to reach a workspace that is not yours, and do not try to disrupt the service. We may pause an account that does.

Liability

We provide Melda OS as-is, except where the law requires otherwise. To the extent the law allows, our liability is capped at the fees you paid Melda in the 3 months before the claim.

Changes and governing law

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email you before the change applies. The laws of the State of Wyoming apply to these terms. Any dispute about these terms will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
